Yeah, and I certainly don't mean to connect my ridiculing tone to any genuine criticisms you and others have made (I think your contributions to the topic have been terrific.) But I really find it hilarious that this guy who self-styles himself as speaking truth to power is taking a victory lap over the Best Picture race. And I want to know what kind of connection he thinks there is between critical favorites and the best picture winner anyway!
