How will this year's probable winners be ranked in the last decade?

DDL's win will probably be seen as deserving but ranked below his TWBB win, which is tough to beat. Probably similar to Colin Firth's win?

Lawrence would fall somewhere in the middle, way below the likes of Cotillard/Theron but above Swank/Witherspoon.

Hathaway.. not sure.

And supporting actor, no idea who's even winning that.

I think DDL will be considered one of the best recent B. Actor winners (maybe below only Hoffman, perhaps Penn, and himself, LOL). Ditto for Hathaway???

Lawrence + whoever wins Supp Actor will probably be more middle of the road -ish

DDL- Good but not pantheon-level like his TWBB win.
Lawrence- Middle of the road
Jones (who I think will win Supp. Actor)- Middle of the road
Hathaway- Very good to great by all except a small but vocal minority.

DDL, ironically he'd be below himself but very high and well regarded

Lawrence, middle of the road, maybe a little higher but still middle tier (Riva would be an all time great and J. Chas would be upper middle tier)

I don't know who's winning supporting but Hoffman would probably rank the highest of the five

Hathaway, upper tier with a small amount of haters, vocal ones though

On tumblr she's really polarizing. Lawrence, Chastain, Cotillard, etc. are all very popular but Hathaway.. not a lot of enthusiasm when she wins and a lot of annoyed posts about her.

In terms of general public, I think DDL, Lawrence, and Hathaway will all be fairly positive. I think all better than average but not quite Mo'nique or DDL in There Will Be Blood levels

DDL, JLAW & Hathaway would all be considered good winners, and hard to complain about. TLJ probably will have a few complainers.

I don't think any winner will suffer from any major backlash and be considered a bad win, unless DeNiro if he somehow wins.
