THR loves the premiere. Review's purposefully vague cuz of Weiner, but apparently it involves Roger and Don examining their lives and eventual deaths - unusual for Roger. It's sad, surprising, existential, funny, and beautiful. I hope we get a glimpse of Peggy (...and then a later episode where she's the main character and dominates over everyone and everything).
Peggy is in the premiere. In Feinberg and Sepinwall's Hitfix podcast, they mention that Peggy part in the premiere was Sepinwall's favorite part of the premiere. I also hope we get a lot of Peggy this season and an episode where Don and Peggy go head to head when pitching a client.

A lot Critics are being so lukewarm about the premiere. Making it seem like a you can skip it thing.

If I were a showrunner I would be delighted at the current Metascore of 88. I think the average viewers who actually would look at critics would only go as far as either a local paper or a consensus to see an opinion of the show's return.

This was excellent. Betty's part was the best.

I was a little lukewarm on this (though it is still better than most everything). It did make me anticipate where the season will go, though.

Also, James Wolk. Ugh, yes: http://www.buzzfeed.com/louispeitzma...-wolk?s=mobile

Yeah, Oscar, I know. Like these people had Academy Award nominations in third grade.
