So, I had no idea that the Bob's Burgers crossover was going to be the premiere episode?! It's been fantastic so far.

Aw, the kids don't talk? BOOO. It's not Bob's without all five of those characters talking at once. Thought their Archerized versions were pretty funny. Otherwise, Cheryl was the best part of the episode.

Yeah, I was definitely disappointed that the kids didn't talk (that A History of Violence-esque shootout would've been ripe for some great lines from them), even though I understand that the budget wasn't big enough for it...
Yeah. At least Louise looked positively gleeful when the family re-entered to see what "Bob" had done. That was wonderfully in character for her.
Apparently, Mirman and Schaal are going to be voicing characters later this season, but both Greer and Jeffrey Tambor have voiced multiple characters previously, so it's not like that's held them back before. So, yeah. I dunno.
Really, no comments on the second episode? I know that Todd thought the sexual politics were a bit dated, but I think it kind of worked as a "straight guy" who is obviously gay whose best explanation is that he has a "singular same-sex attraction" for Archer instead of being an OMG, straight guys are grossed out by gay sex thing (although Archer's horror at it was kind of hilarious - "Can we get the radio" - also, Lana's eyes. LMAO). But basically I loved this because it was fucking hysterical. The entmoot and Predator jokes (especially the POV shot of the tops of the trees...) were great and Lana/Cyril made for a great comedic pairing.
"Maybe I'm gay for Tolkien."
It was great and Lana's face in the car in the final scene was brilliant.
Romney's less subtle campaign message: "Don't ask questions and just vote for me!!"
Yeah, this wasn't my favorite, but there was some seriously funny stuff. Archer's wonderings about the Predator and the entmoot were hysterical (H. Jon Benjamin going off on those bizarre tangents is always funny), and great use of Cyril, too.
And yeah, Lana's face in the car at the end was amazing.
Um... am I the only one a little concerned this is starting to become a season of moments, rather than being consistently 'on'...

Season 4 while very good, is probably my least favorite so far.![]()
"I'm a firm believer in karma, and I think this situation is a huge learning lesson for me.
To grow and expand as a spiritual human being. I want to lead a country one day for all I know".
The Vatican episode to me is the strongest of this season...

Cheryl being able to hear the show's soundtrack is one of my favorite jokes they've ever done.
And Captain Murphy! Is Archer going to have to fight the X-Tacles next season?
Pam eating the vegan seafood was the highlight for me.
Sealab nods! Though I was sad we didn't get any of the other crew members...or even just Captain Murphy (fun work from Jon Hamm) celebrating the destruction of Pod 6. Because Pod 6 is jerks.
Definitely a step down from Seasons 2 and 3, but still very funny.
I realllllly want Ray to wind up paraplegic at the end of every season now.
Oh, definitely.
Also, Hamm's last line/the gypsy woman callback made me laugh so friggin' hard.
