    Girls Season 2

This started up again last night. I'm just catching it now.

Here's hoping we get a good, even season!

Also, I'm glad we all now know how to pronounce Zosia. I wish it was the way we all thought it was, though.

    It's pronounced like "Sasha" with a Z !

Anyway, I loved the premiere. Lena Dunham's writing continues to impress. I can't wait to see where the season goes from here.

It was underwhelming. Like seriously. Specially in terms of direction and most of the writing. Only good thing was the Adam and Hannah thread (or perhaps the sex scene.) Otherwise, Rita Wilson, Marni and his boyfriend and Shoshana (whose character and involvement in the show baffles me) were pretty ordinary.

I kinda loved this. I thought the writing was pretty much pitch-perfect. The music selections were great. Loved the (almost) sex scene between Marnie and Elijah, especially when they both realize they've made a mistake and tell each other they don't have to pretend to be something they're not. Something about that little moment rang true to me.

Side note, I didn't expect Rannells to have that great of a body?!

I always forget that Lena Dunham can't really write characters without having everyone sound like her. Decent premiere but it's still completely watchable as always.

I will not stand for the Shoshana hate.

I thought it was strong. Loved the Marnie/Elijah scene.

I thought the episode was nice. Glad to see it back. I still want Hannah to be punished somehow for being an obnoxious self involved twit, but I think that's part of the allure of this show -- the main character is such a train wreck you cannot stop watching.

I'm excited for what this season holds, though! It seems Marnie will be traveling down an interesting path, and maybe even Jessa, who may be divorced in like 2 episodes.

Ugh I kind of loved this.

I thought Rita Wilson's character sucked...do moms really try to be "friends" with their daughters?

Yeah, and more problematic was in such a tired and now cliched 'Sex and the City'-way.

Loved the season premiere. It did a great job of assessing where everyone is now while pulling them forward for the new season. Lena Dunham is a creative force, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. I'm gonna cut someone if Adam Driver isn't nominated for supporting actor in a comedy series this year.

Also, the season 1 DVD is a riot. Stay for the commentary tracks with the foursome.

UGH. I really cannot stand Hannah.

But tonight's episode was great. The Marnie-Elijah dynamic is awesome!

I really didn't enjoy tonight's episode. It made me feel... very uncomfortable.

The only time I felt uncomfortable was the "open dialogue" scene.

If you were referring to the end, then idk... I feel like the end was kinda amazing in all sorts of way.s No not that she hung up on 911, but I really appreciated the character making progress and standing strong against this terrible relationship. Yeah I felt bad for Adam, but what he did was kinda crazy...like legit...warning signs right there. I'm just really glad that Hannah didn't give in, which she is prone to do...like she was ready to earlier with the horrific "do you still wanna have sex?" after breaking up with Sandy.

I was seriously worried that Adam was going to like, rape Hannah, or something. There was something about that last scene that was really, really unnerving for me and kind of perfect. Ugh.

Some of the dialogue was just too much lol.

I am wondering where the season is going.
