You mean the controversy that had zero to do with the film. The controversy was DOA when million ran out to see DJANGO.

The "controversy" is that QT made a blackploitation historical period Billy Jack/Clint Eastwood movie. And a terrific one at that.

    I say Affleck/Bigeow/Spielberg/Hooper/Russell just because.
    Movies recently reviewed by RRA:

    Star Trek (2009)
    Pain & Gain (2013)
    Oblivion (2013)
    Jurassic Park III (2001)
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)

The New RRA: Less Spam, still 100% ruining AD.

I have this sickening feeling that Bigelow will get shafted, partly because many may not have seen it or because of all the controversy. However, I am just being paranoid about ZD30's chances in general, I feel the same way about Thursday morning.

I say if its any reason, it'll be because of the controversy. But I'm willing to bet money that won't happen.

Really the wild card factor is the botched computer voting.

I feel fine about DGA, but I'm right there with you about having a bad feeling Bigelow could miss Thursday.

She's fine for DGA and the Oscars. The real doubts are about Hooper, Tarantino and Russell. (imo)

Bigelow isn't missing at DGA, BAFTA, or Oscar. Come now.

It's just the typical 11th hour panic. Happens to the best of us (like when I thought Kidman would get snubbed again and miss out for Rabbit Hole).

Considering this year we're getting BAFTA, DGA and Oscar noms within a 72 hour timespan, you're going to hear some really surreal comments. That amount of stress and paranoia is just too much for people.

Seeing as how some of my favorites from this year aren't getting touched with a 1,000 foot pole, I'm mostly indifferent. But I certainly hope Tarantino makes it tomorrow (and Thursday).

ZD30 could miss at BAFTA. Definitely won't miss at the Oscars and DGA.

I can potentially see ZDT missing Best Picture at BAFTA, but Bigelow won't miss anywhere.

Exactly. I wouldn't be surprised with a Hugo-type situation at BAFTA (no Picture, yes Director), but Bigelow will get in.

If you really want to support PTA, you should be drinking paint thinner.

Great. Now who's going to watch Sunday Rose on SAG night??
