Realistic wishes only. No point in pretending the Oscars are something they're not.
1. NO nomination for Tom Hooper
2. NO nomination for Hugh Jackman
3. Prometheus getting more than just Visual Effects (and it sure as hell better not miss there)
4. Cloud Atlas for Score and Editing
5. "Big Machine" getting a Song nom, from the film Safety Not Guaranteed
1. Alan Arkin, who gives such a nothing performance in Argo, gets snubbed
2. The Master overperforms and gets in for Picture, Director, Actor, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, and Original Screenplay
3. Beast of the Southern Wild gets in for Picture, Little Q, and Dwight Henry
4. Agreed with Zuranthium, for "Big Machine" gets a Best Original Song nomination
5. And finally, purely for entertainment purposes, Tom Hooper gets in. To see this and most other awards show forums implode.
Am I allowed to wish for Academy Award-nominee Katy Perry?!
Because that would be hilarious.
Also, I'd love to see The Impossible show up somewhere besides Watts.
Also, Joaquin better be nominated!![]()
WE'RE GONNA FIGHT!
This weekend...one last chance to save Halle's career from complete oblivion. Oh, wait...

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION - INOCA 2012
1. Both Joaquin Phoenix and John Hawkes get nominated.
2. De Niro, DiCaprio and Waltz. I'm predicting it, but it seems very shaky not predicting Arkin.
3. Beyond The Hills for Foreign Feature. I'm still riding that Romanian New Wave.
4. Any mention of Holy Motors or Seven Psychopaths.
5. Paul Thomas Anderson for Best Director.
