I've seen so few of the heavy hitters. I pretty much expect like 5 of my nominees to make it.

    for Bruce Willis.

This would be an amazing line-up. I'm hoping Once Upon a Time in Anatolia sneaks in too. I suspect Life of Pi and/or Argo (backlash too strong?) might feature.

    Looking forward to the announcement!

I think Silver Linings Playbook will make it in Best Picture. Some passionate support in the forum.

I think the Best Actress Lineup will be something like:

    Emmanuelle Riva, Amour
Rachel Weisz, The Deep Blue Sea
    Jessica Chastain, Zero Dark Thirty
    Jennifer Lawrence, Silver Linings Playbook
Quvenzhané Wallis, Beasts of the Southern Wild.

    This was unexpected...

There will be some ties in these awards, hopefully not many and certainly nothing like last year (7 or 8 nominees for best actress, lol).

    EDIT: Correction...I miscounted...

I don't understand how there could be a tie using the voting system that I think we are using.

    Question:

If we missed sign-up due to not being a member during that period, are we allowed to vote on winners?

Which is why I double checked my math and redid that category. When I did, I found that I had assigned a place vote to the wrong film on a ballot. Once corrected, the tie went away.

There haven't been any problems since, though I've had to go through several rounds of preference a couple of times. When I'm done I'll explain in more detail.

No. I just finished tallying the technical categories as well as animated, non-english and doc. If I didn't have to work tomorrow morning, I'd probably finish them in a couple of hours. But I need to be up by 4 so...yeah not gonna happen.

Expect them tomorrow evening, after I get home and finish everything up.

Crap, I forgot to vote too.

Guess I'll just have to vote for winners. It's not like The Turin Horse or This Is 40 had a chance anyway.

I voted for 'The Turin Horse'. At least I want to see it scoring Director and Cinematography nominations, por favor!

    The anticipation is killing me!

For the record, I have already tabulated (I did this as I went, just out of curiosity's sake) the nominees as they would have been had I used the system I used last year...I'll post the results after I post the nominees just so you can see the difference.
