The Dark Knight Rises for Visual Effects

This is the first movie I've seen where I didn't notice any visual effects. Remember this scene. Can you tell what's real and what's fake? If you can, you have better eyes than me.

I know I've got a big ego, I really don't know why it's such a big deal, though.

So...question. I just saw Part of Me (at DG's request) and I am so on board with lavishing it with visual nominations...but would it really be eligible for Costume and Art Direction? I mean, those sets and costumes were made for her tour, right? Does it really count? That said, cinematography and especially editing are SOOOOOO deserving

I didn't think anyone else would recognize this. Originally I was going to put Zero Dark Thirty as number 1, but maybe I'll put in Dredd. I wonder if we are more than just three people considering it.

Please don't forget to vote for the awe-inspiring makeup in Oscar nominated Les Miserables, especially this scene in particular. I wonder how many hours it took for them to cover Hugh Jackman from head to toe... in shit.

I am skipping this year. Just can't muster any enthusiasm for this year's contenders to complete the list.

Yeah. Slumdog Millionaire is deserving of a make-up nomination too.
