    LOL, Hitchcock is just awful and Hopkins is exceptionally bad. Mirren is on auto-pilot except for her Oscar scene which is basically the only good scene in the whole movie. And the makeup... She must get nominated because an Oscar lineup without a performance like this would be just too good. I'm optimistic and not predicting her, though.
    I know I've got a big ego, I really don't know why it's such a big deal, though.

    I'm having a Watts flashback at the moment. Brides of Christ is on TV here. Seriously can't believe that was 20+ years ago now (makes me feel old since I was at the school where they filmed the mini-series).

    I didn't think it was so bad, worlds better than My Week With Marilyn. I'd rewatch Hitchcock before that any day. I'm not saying anything about it is Oscar worthy, just it was enjoyable and not the travesty I was lead to believe.
