That early screener release couldn't help Weisz land a SAG-nod, in a Wallis-less field, no less!

But did they send screeners to SAG? I know Weisz had a Q&A screening for them, but I'm not sure if they sent the screener to them (isn't her studio small)?

    Jennifer Lawrence
    Jessica Chastain
    Marion Cotillard
    Noami Watts
    Emannuelle Riva

I do not think there will be two first-time nominees in this category and I think Riva will take the that one slot.

    Chastain
    Cotillard
    Lawrence
    Wallis
    Weisz
That would be my dream line-up.

I doubt everyone on the nominating committee watched all of those movies.

Yeah just like how they probably won't watch Amour and Conpliance either.

    Oh shit.

"This whole story about the scene where Marion’s character dies in The Dark Knight Rises is absolutely not her fault. It’s Nolan’s, who should have used another take. She offered him a multitude of options, and this one is the one he chose… I find it super brave of an actor to offer as many different tracks to a director. After that, it’s his job to be vigilant when faced with his film at the editing stage."

Well Guillaume doesn't mince his words and I kind of have to agree with him about the takes.

I love Cotillard but that scene was torture. How could you do this Nolan!!! How could you destroy your movie with those last 20 minutes?!?!

I love how I can't say who dies in Les misérables (when everybody knows it since the musical and the novel are very popular) but everybody can say how Marion Cotillard dies in Batman. I haven't seen yet Batman, but now I know that she dies. Thanks a lot.

Sorry about that (even though it wasn't me). I hate it when that happens to me. But TDKR has already been released everywhere internationally, and it's out on DVD, so of course people will be more relaxed on spoilers.

Sorry, even though i wasn't the one who spoiled it. But I thought since it's been out for almost a year and on dvd it's free game. Les Mis just hit the theaters.

Seriously though, Canet is 100% right.
