The worst from what I've seen (I don't know if I can sit through something like Around the World in 80 Days) are The Silence of the Lambs, A Beautiful Mind, and West Side Story, and basically anything they chose in the 80's probably isn't good, except for Ordinary People and Amadeus.

Couldn't resist, huh?Especially since we've already seen Silence picked on the majority of lists posted so far. AD can never resist an opportunity to turn a smile upside down. How about we focus this thread on our BEST list since that is the purpose of the thread after all and save the pans for the likely flip side thread which I'm sure will be created later.
I have seen about 65 of them and I my best 10 (not ranked and alphabetically) are below. Actually here are some really good movies, in general, in there.
All About Eve
Amadeus
Annie Hall
The Deer Hunter
The Departed
Godfather Part II
Lawrence Of Arabia
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
Schindler's List
Terms of Endearment
There are quite a few that I don't like so let us not go there (yet)

Not the same thing at all. One is an elaboration - the other takes the thread off topic in the opposite direction. I just found it annoying you HAD to add that to your list, it just seems unnecessary and divalicious because of course people will focus in on what you picked as your worst, especially considering what you picked.![]()
Chronological:
Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans
Casablanca
The Apartment
Lawrence of Arabia
The Godfather
The Godfather, Part II
Annie Hall
Amadeus
No Country for Old Men
The Hurt Locker
Arguably the most overrated movie, like, ever.
1. The English Patient
2. The Last Emperor
3. Annie Hall
4. No Country For Old Men
5. The Godfather, Part II
6. The Sting
7. My Fair Lady
8. Lawrence of Arabia
9. Out Of Africa
10. An American In Paris
I should probably watch my Blu-ray of Gigi before making this list, but whatever.

Are we counting Sunrise in this? Because if so, it's easily, like, at least #3 for me.![]()
I don't think Sunrise conuts. The Academy doesn't count it.
I'm with CocoActual Items
In the Year 2000
As more and more people start having sex with robots, it will become increasingly embarrassing to buy a can of WD-40.
Would have been on my list too.
But sadly, it shouldn't count.

I don't care for Silence of the Lambs either.![]()
1) The Godfather Part II
2) All About Eve
3) Lawrence of Arabia
4) Midnight Cowboy
5) The Apartment
6) The Last Emperor
7) Annie Hall
8) Casablanca
9) Unforgiven
10) Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
I'll also vouch for the Silence of the Lambs is overrated notion.
"Keep yoah paint outta my pahhking spot aaaahhhht depaaahhhhhtment!!!"
We counted it for the epic Best Picture tournament on here way back in the day, so I still count it.
