    McCain is not a fan.

I'm sure watching a movie like this is already triggering for him.. It probably doesn't help that the movie decides to be ambiguous on the right/wrong of it.

The sad thing is most people just don't care enough about this -- foreign policy is pretty much the only thing Democrats and Republicans mostly agree on. Most audiences will probably come away from the movie pumping their fists at killing Bin Laden.

If that is what happens, the film has failed. But I don't think it will.

Rex Reed brought down the Metacritic and Rottentomateos Average Score... with his 2/5 review (50)

I'm actually shocked by this since he loved The Hurt Locker.

An earlier version of this review included a photo caption that misspelled the given name of an actor in “Zero Dark Thirty.” He is Chris Pratt, not Christ Pratt.

So you are in the group who does believes in the idea of a standard viewer and does care how it will be perceived by an average viewer when judging the efficacy of the movie?

Yes, although I don't like the label 'standard viewer', as if it is someone inferior. These are the people that go to the movies a few times a year to be entertained and have their mind taken off things for two hours. I don't think this film will draw much of that crowd.

I don't think they are inferior either. But personally when I think about standard viewer or average viewer I consider people who watch movies more than just what you have mentioned. The group that you are talking about, for me, is at the end of movie-going spectrum and much smaller in size (just like at the other end.) For me it is a large or major chunk of movie audiences which constitutes average viewer.

Don't get too excited, guys, he did the same thing for Moneyball, but he always puts the weight back on for the show. Right now he's 290 pounds because he's playing some lawyer. Though he said doing that was basically hell. Who would have guessed Pratt to be the next De Niro?

(I follow him on Twitter, this isn't just some weird shit I randomly know, lol.)

What I don't understand is: when you've gone through so much work to reach that, why not maintain it?

He probably had to work out like two or three hours a day for 6 months. I am sure it got really old.

Sure, but once you reach that, maintenance is easier (though not easy by any means).

Oh believe you me, there are reasons!

I can't watch that video cause I'm at work but yes I have kept abreast over how Prattalicious he is getting! There is plenty of evidence, by the way, from his interviews that dude is very much in the Blasty way and just loves eating and packing it on. I mean...
