    Hmmm...
    Mostly animated films like

    Mary&Max
    Fantastic Mr. Fox
    Summer Wars
    Coraline
    The Triplets of Belville

and Martin Scorsese's "King of Comedy".
"The white Ribbon" is to be considered, too.

    I'll only go with recent:

    Tabu
    The Tree of Life
Jodaie Nader az Simin (A Separation)
    Mistérios de Lisboa
Loong Boonmee Raleuk Chat (Uncle Boonmee)

Which are really close in terms of release dates considering it would usually take me around four or five years to gather as many top-rated films (I use 100, not A+)

From newest viewing to oldest, all within the year:

    Ménilmontant (Dimitri Kirsanoff, 1926)
The Blue Angel (Josef von Sternberg, 1930)
World On A Wire (Rainer Werner Fassbinder, 1973)
My Night At Maud's (Eric Rohmer, 1969)
    Mister Lonely (Harmony Korine, 2008)
*first rewatch in years moved it to a ten*

    Cinema is good.

Geez, this is tough. I see about a movie a day, even a bit more overall, so I have lots to choose from. But that said, for a mix of new releases and much older stuff, I only have to go back as far as late last summer when the Sight and Sound poll led me to some previously unseen gems. In order of when I saw them, least to most recently:

    Ugetsu
    L’Atalante
    Holy Motors
    Gertrud
    Lincoln

And since these past two years have been so full of such fantastic movies, I can’t help but do a list for just newer movies. In the same order:

    Meek’s Cutoff
Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives
    Mysteries of Lisbon
    Holy Motors
    Lincoln

I actually give five stars to a lot of films. So far this year I've seen like 35 films and I'd give fives to 12 of them. That being said, those five stars encompass A-/A/A+ and I'd only give ONE of the those 12 an A+. That film is Declaration of War. So, in looking back to last year, I gave 31 films five stars, but of those 31, only 6 of them are A+ films with me.

    1) Beginners
    2) Mysteries of Lisbon
    3) A Separation
    4) Declaration of War
    5) Tomboy
    ~
    6) Drive
    7) Meek's Cutoff

If we go back to 2010, I gave 24 films five stars but only 1 film gets an A+ from me, The Social Network, which is still the best film of the decade.

    My most recent 10/10s:
    Shame (2011), by Steve McQueen
The Turin Horse (2011), by Béla Tarr & Ágnes Hranitzky
    Aurora (2011), by Cristi Puiu
    Hahaha (2010), by Hong Sang-soo
Goodbye Solo (2009), by Ramin Bahrani

But! I am seeing Holy Motors tonight - so we'll see!!!

Tree of Life and The Social Network were the last two. I suspect Holy Motors will find a place there, but I need to watch it again! Prior to that, I'd have to go back all the way to 2004 which had three(!) such films (Dogville, Eternal Sunshine, Before Sunset).

These are all the A+ films, there have been others that I've given an A to.
