Oh imagine if that actually did happen. The Internet's stupid prejudice would be revealed much like that recent Woodley-MJ casting "debate." ("She's not hot enough!")
"Batman's white!"
"So was Nick Fury once too. Who's complaining now?"
"Batman's WHITE!"
(Almost as inevitably dumb as that "James Bond isn't Blond!" controversy was, remembe that stupid shit?)

Of course, they'd just throw back in your face that there should be a new Shaft movie starring Patrick Wilson... Despite the fact that Shafts complete identity is tied into the fact that he's black and Batman's just white because he was made that way. Will Smith being cast as Batman would be wrong for a WHOLE assortment of other reasons, though, lol.
Weird.
http://www.deadline.com/2013/04/chin...from-theaters/Sony Pictures wants to know why Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained was pulled from movie theaters on the first day of its Thursday release in China. The studio which is releasing the blockbuster film internationally was caught by surprise, prompting studio spokesman Steve Elzer to tell me tonight: “We regret that Django Unchained has been removed from theaters and are working with the Chinese authorities to determine whether the film can be rescheduled.” In some cinemas, screenings were stopped after one minute of footage was shown “because of technical reasons … for the time being,” according to a notice distributed to cinema companies.
