BAFTA nominated Craig for Casino Royale.

Casino Royale was way more of an acting showcase for Craig than Skyfall is though. Dench and Bardem will get in, but Craig won't.

She's barely gotten any actual lead actress nominations, let alone wins. Just yesterday the London Film Critics nominated her film for Best Picture, but again had no problem leaving her off of the Best Actress list. She missed the GG as well. We can qualify it all we want, but she still missed. The SAG, she was ineligible for and we assume she would have been nominated, but we really don't know. She did get the BFCA nomination, but they did have six nominees. Again, we assume that she wasn't 6th, but we don't really know that either. I've had Wallis in my predictions since the spring and have been confident about her nomination pretty much the entire time, but you can't deny that she isn't looking very strong right now and that could be due to a possible reluctance about putting a six year old into a Best Lead Actress lineup. She does have vocal supporters and that's what is still keeping her in the conversation right now, but who knows how many of them there really are. I think at this point it's very fair to doubt her.
I hate to continue this discussion on the actor thread, but Wallis has received far more best actress nominations than Mirren, Cotillard, Watts and Weisz at the critic awards and on the indiewire critics poll she's listed as the 4th best actress beating out Lawrence who's ranked 6th.

The Indiewire critics know what's up . Wallis is also no. 2 (behind only Riva-Trintignant) on Time's list of top performances of 2012
