I didn't mean the she was snubbed, i was just saying that for she made some performances, some movies, good enough to help her when people think she is worthy of an honor.


A bit like Marion, she wasn't snubbed for Nine, Midnight in Paris or Inception. But she was very good in those three films with many people praising her work and for the last two her movies. Public Enemies, Contagion and the Dark Knight Rises were also good performances.


Nothing worthy of an oscar (although i really feel she should have been nominated instead of Cruz but that's my opinion) but movies with enough praises & sucess to keep her on Hollywood radar and a few critics nomination and almost everytime on BAFTA longlist.


I'm just saying Watts was really good in King Kong, The Painted Veil , Mother and Child & Eastern Promises & really good in Mulholland Drive & fantastic in 21 Gramms. She did some bad movies too but i never thought she was bad in them.


That doesn't garantee her anything for sure, just more support than most newcomers & extra critics raves when she is felt worthy of them.

... Why? What could she have been nominated for that she didn't? King Kong? Fair Game? I mean, look at her filmography... it's not like she's made a ton of Oscar bait stuff that she was egregiously snubbed for. It's not as if she had to suffer a Jolie in A Mighty Heart-esque snub.

Again, I think I've said this enough times. I don't dislike Naomi, I just like making fun of her. There is a difference. She's my winner for Mulholland Drive and I nominate her for Mother and Child, so I wouldn't mind her getting nominated, The Impossible sight unseen. Right now, she's looking good for a nomination and I'm predicting her. I'm just not 100% certain about anyone in this category other than Chastain and Lawrence. I also don't think any argument can be made for her winning, like at all.
