Maybe there is some truth to the quoted statement as they did vote on a character who fucks everyone insight. LOL.

I'm hoping for someone other than Chastain or Lawrence. This really is a weak year for actress.

Now, am I rooting for her to win an Oscar? Not exactly, as I'm hoping Cotillard, Riva or Wallis make it - as I haven't seen "Zero Dark Thirty", I can't comment on Chastain just yet - but if she does win, I won't begrudge her for it because I do enjoy her performance and think it's just as good as "Winter's Bone."
It's funny because I actually think that the success of people like Lawrence demonstrate how poor the American cinema is and how weak American actors are.
There used to have great North American actors. Now, they have people like Lawrence. No wonder Streep keeps getting those nominations or Gosling is so praised! Luckily, the Brits are saving Hollywood.

I said drool over her. And if you think there aren't critics that lower themselves to that level, you are mistaken.

It kind of makes no sense after being in contention for practically every category, but these awards don't make much sense when looking at them altogether.
