    TV Critics Top 10 lists

It's all just prelude for the release of the AV Club's list on Dec. 26, but you may as well post TV critics' top 10 lists here because... whatever, right?

Metacritic's early aggregate has the #1 spot as a war between, surprise surprise, AMC's Mad Men (2010's #1) and AMC's Breaking Bad (last year's #1).

The network dramas to make it in last year were Good Wife & Revenge. Thus far, this year it's Nashville. Maybe Hayden P can take a supporting actress Emmy slot from one of the Good Wife girls. I wonder if Good Wife might end next year; the ratings alone certainly don't merit renewal.

Nice to see him throw some love to 30 Rock, which has really been close to its heights of Season 2/3 so far.

Parenthood above Homeland is a big play.

There's a wide gap between the #3 & #4 comedies on Metacritic's aggregate, but the #4 is 30 Rock. I'm surprised, as critics in recent years had jumped off that bandwagon completely - the TCAs have ignored it 3 years in a row. So once again, this leaves NBC with two of the T4 comedies (along with Parks), though most critics seem to have lost their love for Community for whatever reasons.

I just realized NBC also had 3 of the T4 major network shows overall - impressive.

Seeing it on so many top 10's, I wonder how many of these lists were done before seeing much of the second half of season 2.

wth is The Chris Gethard Show?

Also, I'm starting to think the AVC only accepts new staff writers if they take pseudonyms that sound like what Simpsons writers would come up for members of the Springfield Country Club. Pilot Virulet, Alasdair Wilkins, Scott von Doviak, Les Chappell and Myles McNutt.

It pains me that Parks and Rec is ranked higher than the much superior Girls.
