ACTRESS: One-time Oscar nominees, who is most likely to snag a second nod?

Here is a list of one-time Oscar-nominees for Actress and Supporting Actress, from the years 1980-2002 (I left out the last 10 years as many of those one-timers will most likely snag a second nod soon).

There are 52 names, but you can only pick 2 Choices.

KST is british and will likey get good roles as she gets older.

Oprah has a lot of power and could likey get nominated as she gets back to the film world now. Could happen as soon as next year. I think she will be a winner one day. She already got the Jean Hersholt.

No, Zac, I'm going with my Nanny.

Great. Now who's going to watch Sunday Rose on SAG night??

Went with Toni Collette and KST but in terms of winners with only one nod, I really hope Mary Steenburgen comes back some day. Oh and of course La Marion and Legend Swinton as well.

I said Toni Collette, which I think is very possible, and then Mare Winningham which isn't all that likely but I think if she's lucky enough to find the right role, it could happen. Which is more than I can say for most of the women on this poll (I mean... Bacall? Plowright? Aleandro? Montenegro....no).

KST seems the most likely for me. With the right choice of projects going forward she could be as respected as Dench or Smith once she gets up there in years.

Laura Dern because she is such a mammoth talent.

Then Kate Hudson who will probably return ala Witherspoon/Roberts/Bullock with some big biog drama vehicle.

    Then Oprah Winfrey of course....
