It's so cute to hear Herr Watts talk about her fake drowning while filming a movie about 300,000 people that actually perished.
So classy.
The one thing that does make me worry about Naomi Watts is that she has the worst gifs. Like, nothing even worth posting.
God, do people really just not care about her? I'm surprised she doesn't have a legion of gaylings on tumblr.![]()
Actually, I think Naomi is a great actress and one of the best of her generation. You don't become the record-holder for most SIO Award nominations for nothing!

WE'RE GONNA FIGHT!
This weekend...one last chance to save Halle's career from complete oblivion. Oh, wait...
"...it's already done."

http://www.contactmusic.com/news/mar...-award_3407940French actress Marion Cotillard blames her media overexposure for missing out on a top award at the Cannes Film Festival in May
To be fair, they asked her about losing and its probably not entirely wrong...why go with someone like Cotillard when you can give it to deserving unknowns who need it.
Not to mention many people predicted her or Riva to win.
On Chastain:
http://www.slantmagazine.com/house/2...o-dark-thirty/This movie doesn't exactly demand transformation from Chastain, but, then, barring Celia Foote in The Help, none of her roles necessarily have, and she's still emerged as a rivetingly chameleonic leading lady. Watching Zero Dark Thirty, one gathers and appreciates that Chastain is one of the great recent gifts to the cinema, that rare combination of likability, born-for-the-camera looks, and talent to please the most finnicky connoisseur. As Maya, the CIA agent who devoted a decade to nothing but the hunt for Osama bin Laden, the actress exhibits a certain feminine frailty while delivering an empowering turn that begs to be rewarded. From Sally Field to Sandra Bullock, these performances get noticed, and more specifically, they often get gold.
My head is spinning at them comparing, however indirectly, Chastain to Bullock LOL. That's quite a reach, I'm pretty sure none of us who see Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty are going to be thinking "Such power amidst such feminine frailty! Just like The Blind Side!"
LMFAO, totally Blasty.
Zero Dark Thirty will go all Mrs Miniver on our asses!
Bullock had a huge long Hollywood sweetheart career and an unstoppable juggernaut of a narrative that year.
Chastain is however the lead in a big serious powerhouse movie (with the coolest title of the year) which is now one of the favourites for BP/BD. Chastain is no Bullock (in terms of popularity/stardom), but she is an 'it' girl who is perhaps more respected in acting circles...?
