    The Taylor Swift thread

Let's all talk about how she's our spirit animal.

I'll go first: She's my spirit animal. I cry every time I listen to "Mean." Man tears.

She's not big here and I've never actually heard a single song by her. But I must say I do think "We are never ever getting back together" is one of the greatest song titles I've ever heard.

Also, she's apparently bearding for One Direction's Harry now?

Her ability to single handily keep "Country Music" relevant without even being Country herself is quite literally amazing.

Well let's be fair. She started out country, found massive cross over success, and is now pursuing the more lucrative side of the music business (pop). She caters to the pop crowd mostly, but even her latest cd has a handful of country tunes.

Even there he looks like he's glancing through shamefully squinted eyes at some dude across the street.

As someone who spends an awful lot of time listening to Gillian Welch, Eilen Jewell, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Huckleberry Flint she drives me sort of insane. Also, my kindle thought I meant to say "Buckle Curr" when I typed huckleberry. Oy.

Her contributions to the Hunger Games soundtrack aren't bad, probably because they aren't about famous men she's dated.

    Lautner.

I simply find her bland.Very meh and for me she was never true country anyway. She doesn't annoy me like she does to so many.

Country radio is starting to drop her. Hopefully she starts to fade soon.

I wish I could have such confidence, but she just had her first #1 hit, so this is probably just the beginning...

Her Max Martin songs are burning up pop, but Begin Again is flopping at Country radio. This era will probably be her biggest yet but then the country backlash will strike.
