Hmmm. Surely they won't be using the 2011 twitter account, right? I'm trying to figure out which account to obsessively check on my phone tomorrow.

Yeah, they don't have a 2012-specific twitter account, but here is their regular one, where they post the winners too, so this is the best bet: https://twitter.com/nyfcc

Looking at their Twitter for last year, it seems like they announce the categories one-by-one shortly after voting starts.

On average, it looks like they take about 10-20 minutes between awards

There's something wrong with this signature.
Can you find that ONE mistake?

I see no evidence to the contrary?

I'm insanely excited, although somehwat pensive. Mike D'Angelo tweeted these yesterday as part of a longer conversation:

    Mike D'Angelo Mike D'Angelo ‏@gemko
@kateyrich @mattsinger @bilgeebiri My main beef about the NYFCC membership is that most crix arrive with lists pre-vetted by Dave Karger.

    Mike D'Angelo ‏@gemko
@kateyrich @lisaschwarzbaum @mattsinger There's that, but some folks really do scoff aloud at offbeat picks during NYFCC voting.

Makes sense, given how middlebrow some of their recent choices have been. The biggest jaw-dropper in the last ten years was probably Eugene Levy's Supporting Actor win for A Mighty Wind. Otherwise, they've been crowning Oscar favorites all the way.

Let us get some business out of the way first!

First, please don't constantly refresh this page. Everything moves a lot slower when you do that!

Second, we think they may start VOTING at 10am. This is going to be a very long process with possibly a half hour in between results. You don't need to complain about how long it is taking. Go do something else while you are waiting!

    Thanks!
