My guess is Manhunter cameos and the other two don't. But yeah, it would've been great to get Hawkgirl in there. Or Black Canary. Or Zatanna!

Kevin Feige says Doctor Strange "will be a part" of Marvel's Phase 3.

What if DC is moving towards a shared film universe like Marvel and we will eventually get Zatanna in an inevitable JL sequel once Del Toro's Dark Universe movie is made?
I'm always very suspicious about DC characters on screen, but that would be quite cool.
Also, I can't find the article right now, but apparently Jimmy Olsen is now Jenny Olsen in Man of Steel? Not sure what to make of that since Jimmy's one of my favorites, but it's nice that they're bringing in more female characters. It would have been even cooler if the original rumors were true and they had made Jimmy gay.
Are we sure Jimmy's not just pretending to be Jenny? Wouldn't be the first time.
But yeah, they're likely saving Zatanna for Dark Universe (given that Del Toro's referred to her playing a role in that), and if that hits, I could see her crossing over. And they are launching a shared universe - JL is supposed to spin off Wonder Woman, Flash, and the new Batman.
Crossdresser Jimmy is definitely a personal favorite just slightly above Cake Robber Lex Luthor, Crazy Stalker Lois Lane and Dick Superman. In fact a movie about those 4 would probably be much more interesting than Man of Steel.
Well this must be a first in Nerdom Reporting: Latino Review's Elmayimbe claims they have a big Marvel scoop but won't divulge it until during the Super Bowl game.
He gave one clue regarding the scoop.
Hey remember that old Queen song "One Vision"?

Yeah, I got no fucking clue here either.

You two are such bad nerds
A diamond shape in Marvel means only one thing.
It's the Vision!

It's a misshapen Starfleet insignia. Crossover!
In other news, CW passes on the Wonder Woman pilot (for now), WB says that there will be a JL movie only if Man of Steel is a hit and - in the worst comic book related news of the year - Cartoon Network cancels both Green Lantern and Young Justice. I will miss Young Justice terribly. That is a great show.
Not a good day to be a DC fan. Well it hasn't been a good year to be a DC fan.
There's been a rumor since Avengers that Coulson would come back as the Vision.
I'm not sure that'll be the case, although it would make some sense (with Tony Stark working the mechanics of it all) since it's not likely that they're doing Wonder Man or Kang the Conqueror as the Vision's human "souls" or Ultron as his creator.
Two things to keep in mind:
(1) Coulson will be the focus of the upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. tv show, which is set after AVENGERS according to people involved in that pilot/series so far.
(2) We're getting an Ant-Man movie in '15, and of course Ultron was his creation, who went on to create of course Vision.
Intriguing times in the Mouse House with this and SW.

On second thought, what if the "Diamond" isn't refering to Vision but instead that the new Avenger is Diamond Dallas Page?

And this is where the thread discovers that I really don't give a crap about the Vision. I dunno what it is, but I just cannot get interested in that character. So if that's the scoop - that Coulson is the Vision - that's really about as boring as I can imagine. Though, my definition of "exciting Marvel scoop" would be them greenlighting a Drew Goddard-directed NEXTWAVE, or something.
Eh, I also don't really care about Vision outside of Young Avengers.
Now that's a book I would love to see turned into a TV series.
Rumors that need a dash of salt...apparently a certain director who once upon a time was attached to make a Batman movie before Mr. Nolan is being primed by WB to direct the Batman movie to spin-off from the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie. Report doesn't mention whether we're getting a black Alfred and Cadillac Batmobile and hockey mask wearing Batman this time.
Darren Aronofsky to direct next Batman movie?
http://movies.cosmicbooknews.com/con...-league-script
Also more details from that link/report above, allegedly Goyer will be consulting/rewriting Beall's JL script. June 19, 2015 is the target release date for the JL movie but if it isn't ready WB has no qualms with pushing it back to 2016 (Which unfortunately I'm fully expecting at this rate) which as result would push back the next Batman movie to '17 ('16 if JL makes its original target date.)
I don't know if I believe Cosmic Book News and their insistence that the next Batman movie will be based off ARKHAM ASYLUM.

Elmayimbe has posted more clues regarding his big Super Bowl Marvel scoop.
For example:
Dent, any ideas?Graphic novels of Super Bowl scoop did so well they are completely sold out! Issues and graphic novels! That's clue & how popular it is! RT
He also posted a pictures of several comics (most if not all iconic cover issues) and claims one of them is the subject of his scoop. For those too lazy to click the link, I see Spider-Man, Fantastic Four (3x actually), Silver Surfer, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and X-Men.

He also posted another picture clue (which unfortunately I can't find right now) which apparently was an Air Force insignia of some kind.
I.....have nothing folks. I'm puzzled like hell.
