No, you really do contribute nothing. You've been making the same fucking argument for months, MONTHS, about Wallis, and many people far smarter than you have shown you why you are wrong, and yet you keep bouncing back with the same stupid bullshit argument. "No one will take her seriously!" Well, Orpah, Rosie and Ms. Sarandon have. "Her movie isn't that good!" It has the most 100s of any film year by a long stretch. "She just isn't that good!" Tough. Shit. Subjective opinion means jack shit in predicting, and that goes doubly so for your sorry ass.

Down to "Argo" vs "Les Mis" in my book (I know a lot of people have alot of faith in "Lincoln", but I don't see a passion angle there). The main reason I'm sticking with "Argo" is because I see Affleck winning the DGA which usually equals BP.
If one more person says that Lincoln has no passion I am going to scream.
Seriously.
After seeing Life of Pi tonight, all i can say is that I'm praying for it to miss. It's very pretty, but the screenplay is atrocious and Sharma's performance is pretty bad.
Last five movies seen:
Chunhyang (2000) **1/2
Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) **
Valhalla Rising (2009) ***1/2
Young Adult (2011) *
How I Ended This Summer (2010) *1/2
I would expect no less. So, when can we restart the conversation? How about, after the Globe nominees are announced? That sounds good to me. Frankly, I'm tired of my own negativity. I am instead going to stump for a bunch of no-hope candidates that I believe will be unfairly snubbed, in the duration. Like Emayatzy Corinealdi, Rashida Jones, and Greta Gerwig!![]()
Any concern over Lincoln not appealing to The Hollywood Foreign Press as much as American journalists and Academy members? There has been some speculation of the film not playing as well outside of the US. Just suggesting it may hinder a win.
When has a film's "Americanness" ever been a hindrance with the HFPA?
