I'll give KK one thing; she has nearly impeccable taste in couture.

    Andrew O'Hehir raves:

    Raves Keira:

Wright understands how to use Knightley’s remarkable angles and screen charisma to best effect, but it’s time to give this much-discussed and oft-derided actress her due. If Knightley began her career as an upper-crust ingénue type with a bone structure made for the movie screen, she’s more than that now. Her Anna is a complicated, powerful and vulnerable character caught between the romantic sensation of being swept away by passion and a consciousness that she’s an adult woman who has chosen the path toward catastrophe. I couldn’t help thinking that under the skin Anna is a sister to Sabina Spielrein, the sadomasochistic patient, lover and collaborator of Carl Jung whom Knightley played in “A Dangerous Method.”
He also dug Cloud Atlas right? A bit more adventurous than the others, this one.

PERFECT!!!! The reception for the movie have been divisive, yes! But Dame Keira has received the best acclaim of her career.

That's a big rave for Keira Knighley!

Maybe her chances aren't over after all.

When did I give you the impression that I cared whether you (or anyone) thought I was being funny/entertaining? I see you're comfortable up on your Anglophile soapbox again: if the Brits "invented" humor, how come you have none when it comes to anything about AK or Keira? Whenever someone makes a joke at the expense of KK or AK, instead of taking it in stride, you lash out or launch into one of your typical tirades featuring any of several recycled phrases from your bag of tricks. Unlike you, my goal here is not to be "entertaining", which I guess it is for you; do you think you're succeeding with that? All that your comments show is that you're incredibly thin-skinned & defensive (can't take a Keira joke), hypocritical (lambasting others for mocking your "Queen" but doing the same about other actresses), and a complete and utter caricature ("sis", "lawwd!", etc). Similar traits and language are not uncommon at AD and I've generally become immune to them, but if you're going to intervene and attack me anytime I do something that fits into your definition of "trolling", when I haven't even addressed you, just makes me wonder why you're so obsessed with me and rehashing the past? This is a thread about Anna Karenina: if I make a post mocking Dirk about how AK's reviews are mixed, it's all in good fun; I don't need the British gestapo barging in and blowing your whistle at me. At least Dirk knows how to take a joke.

Ok. Anna Karenina is green and at 62 right now on Metacritic right now. And both Rolling Stone and Salon haven't been added yet.

This just brought back memories of Natalie Portman's cloaca.
