Dirk, we have the same need for reposting old posts as we have for resurrecting old and dead threads just because: Absolutely none.

Are you sure we shouldn't start a Dirk Diggler thread after all? There's not one day where I don't think that this would be helpful, with your free passes and what-not.

I think you've posted that Travers quote 3 times.
That is NOT being helpful. That is being annoying.

A Dirk Diggler thread is not a punishment, but an honour. Please consider it or I'll consider it for you.

Well I just thought not everyone looks through an old locked thread where the post was on one of the last pages.

    Again, sorry.

    a rave (****1/2) from boxoffice.com

    http://www.boxoffice.com/reviews/201...-karenina-2012

    with great ink for Keira

Anchored by Keira Knightley's implacable turn as the titular heroine torn between two men, Anna Karenina will draw discerning audiences, and could prove a slow and steady awards season success if viewers can appreciate—and see beyond—its technical genius.

Keira Knightley more than meets the challenge of this supremely demanding role—the actress' fierce loyalty to her character sells Anna's most damningly selfish moments, her resolve allowing the movie to comfortably straddle the line between florid melodrama and Synecdoche, St. Petersburg.

Have they released a list of how this is going to expand? That's the one thing I love about Fox Searchlight: they might make wait you wait a while for something to get to your city, but at least they are upfront about when it will get there.

I need to see it today!

from what I hear, this will be limited in like NYC, LA and the DC area. I will be in the LA area this friday. And the film will go wider come early December, with a full on release during the Christmas break.

It's hitting Orlando/Tampa, FL November 30th which is super quick for a movie starting out as a limited release. So expect a quick expansion.

The part in the review about Levin and Kitty.

There's talk the film got pushed back in Australia to February 7 from January, so it could open the same day as Silver Linings Playbook now.
