And wasn't Jolie 4th (or was that in LA, can't remember)? Keira?!

I really think the NYC crowd is not going to go for Les Miz at all for reasons I've stated elsewhere. That's probably the one place on earth where Les Miz is not considered the end-all be-all of musicals, mostly because it's not cool to like things that played Broadway for too long. Dreamgirls as a musical is definitely held in higher regard in the Broadway circle than Les Miz is.

I am with McTeague in thinking that Helen Hunt can win NYFCC.

Great. Now who's going to watch Sunday Rose on SAG night??

Hathaway was tied with Kate Winslet for 3rd (for Revolutionary Road).

Well, Jolie was definitely 4th somewhere. It was probably the LAFCA. I remember her being a 3rd runner-up and how it should be used in her FYC's was like a long running joke that season lol.

Angie was 4th in LAFCA. Someone made an amazing graphic for it at the time, but the joke was on us when she wound up getting nominated for everything else.

Does LAFCA even list their 4th choice? I thought they usually announced the winner and 1 runner-up? On IMDB award page, Hawkins won with Melissa Leo getting runner-up status, no one else is listed.

I don't know if it's usual practice, but in 2008 they definitely listed all significant vote getters. I think part of the joke was that it was so bizarre that they'd even announce who came in 4th.

Miss Jolie was, indeed, the 4th Runner-Up! That fifth place finish kept her buzz alive.
