Will Oscar have Riva Fever?
The talent level of these "All Stars" is such a joke. Nothing was really that great, and Cassanova being in the top three was eye roll inducing.
"This is not your daddy's HBO version of Mandela," said Weinstein. "This is the kickass version of Mandela."
I agree. That said, Team Confident was clearly the better one ( except Kayne but his also at least was something which shows effort put into unlike Team Bold.) Ivy and Althea were quite nice More stylish and expensive.
The prize is really big this time. The all expenses paid fashion week world tour is really cool! Plus Carolyn Muprhy is so better than Angela Lindvall. By the way Joanna Coles has moved to Cosmopolitan now so this much be shot a while back.
I actually really loved Wendy''s design (minus the perverted lace cooter).

In spite of having such big great prize and strong judges, the all stars has such a b-list aura around it. The last show was cool, design-wise. All the top ones were actually creative, good designs.

This group was assembled to give Anthony Ryan the win, just like last season was all about Mondo.
I just want Althea to get into the finals.
The focus all season has really been on Anthony Ryan...everyone talking about how talented he is and how they are happy to see him recognized. I don't think Uli will win. Emilio isn't featured that much (maybe because he's boring) but he's the only one I see giving Anthony Ryan a run for it in the end. The editing of these shows pretty much tells you everything from the beginning, which is sad.
They've both won 2 challenges I believe (maybe AR has won 3). Ulie has won one. I'd prefer Anthony Ryan of the three, but we'll see. I don't think it's nearly as clear cut as the first time they did this.
Not that it matters, but by coincidence, both of them, Mondo and Anthony Ryan, have struggled with serious health issues.
Personally Emilio's win so far has been deserving but he can very easily venture into cheap-world. I agree though that other than AR, Uli or Emilio, I don't think there is anyone else strong enough. I like Althea as a person though and she can be good if she is in her comfort zone.
I know people are not following this but what was Joshua thinking with that fabric? From Paris, of all places?
Uli was robbed (and not to mention Emilio's was just meh. Lol Missoni was so right.) But then as most of you said, it was already decided for Anthony.
Anthony Ryan's collection, and aesthetic in general, was and is better than Uli's. I love Uli but I got so tired of her making the same thing over and over again. And like, how many times can you simply glue a damn piece of feather or pre-maid jewel onto something? I wish she had created more things on her own.
To me Anthony never had a identifiable style or aesthetic. He was hit or miss with safe or pleasing designs. I would definitely say he use to sew well. Uli on the other hand, yes, maybe a too similar in her style but she was perfect in it and her collection looked expensive and intricate and it was amazing that she did that in few days.
