About Beyonce's press conference impromptu National Anthem performance: On the one hand, I get people saying 'HBIC! You showed em gurl, Bow down!' But on the other, everybody under the sun KNOWS Beyonce can sing - she KNOWS she can sing, she has sung live a million times before, so this performance stunt kinda does come off as her desperate to get people to like/respect her for some reason for me, like she couldn't take the criticism of her lip syncing and it bothered her so much she had to do this? A true confident DIVA would not even have cared about what the media or the internet had said - Aretha would have laughed her ass off about it. So, sorry, but this comes off as a 'Rachel/Lea Michelle Glee' moment for her in my book. No diva needs to prove anything to anybody or should ever let the world see they care what it thinks of them. Beyonce still a baby diva in training for me.

I thought it was pretty much the greatest thing ever.

I think Beyonce truly treasures both Kelly and Michelle and realizes their importance in her career and wants to share the biggest stage in the world with them.

I think it's an unwise decision, at least in terms of the overall performance, but I don't think you can describe as anything other than genuine and sweet.
Well for her fans, they'll love it obviously no matter what unless its a train wreck.

Its just when they show up, will most viewers know who they are unless the channel makes a big point repeatedly beforehand about this historic moment? I mean lets be honest, people only know Beyonce from DC. Its like most can name Diana Ross from the Supremes but not her co-workers. (I'm sorry but its true.)

Maybe I'm just still knawing over that shoehorned LMFAO cameo from last year.

I would be shocked if 90% of the audience don't know who Kelly and Michelle are when they're paired with Beyonce.

I'm looking forward to this a lot - I'm a bigger Madonna fan, but I think Beyoncé can easily outperform her if she wants to... although B's performances are not as interesting, usually.

And why Baby Boy? What did I miss?
There was definitely Baby Boy choreography in there. And I think I saw Countdown moves there too.

She always performs Baby Boy at concerts, so it's not surprising.

I still don't get what's weird about a Baby Boy performance? Her second biggest hit?

It just seems old and not exactly a song that's stood the test of time. I imagined she'd stick to Crazy In Love from that album. It just sounds like a strange choice when she's bound to perform, what, 6 songs? I like it well enough, but I don't think it makes much sense.
