Unless the old lady is Betty White I think Hudson isnear a lock to win Guest Actress if she gets nominated. Guest though is way more random then other categories when it comes to the eventual nominees.

I can see Krakowski make it, especially after her last episode.

I wonder if Busy Phillips might have an outside shot?

    No? Okay.

    No chance.

But Courteney Cox is going to guest star on Go On. Poor thing is trying to get that Emmy nom any way she can.

With one episode left, I am officially Team Rebecca Hall For The Emmy. You are all required to see Parade's End and join in my crusade.
I know I've got a big ego, I really don't know why it's such a big deal, though.

Happy Endings a few weeks ago recieved a nom from ASC so I have bumped up the 1% chance of Eliza Coupe rightfully getting nominated to 3% since at least 1 of the guilds have seen seen the series.

Coupe would be the least deserving of the three ladies.

A nomination for Cuthbert would be the greatest thing in Emmys history.

Ask three people who the best supporting actress on Happy Endings is and you'll get three different anwers. That's one of the reasons we'll never see a nomination for any of them.

FAAAAAAAAAALSE! They're all ace performers giving great performances, but Coupe has been the secret all-star since season 2 began. My opinion may or may not be influence by the fact that Jane is essentially my wife's Id made into a TV character.

I think they're all great, but something about Coupe's performance can irk me sometimes. I think Jane and Brad have been taken to some obnoxious extremes at certain points this season.

I'd take a nomination for any of them, though. Well, except for Dave. Never Dave.

I've seen the whole thing and was near hating her. Adelaine Clemenes is so much better with Cumberbatch being 100 times better then anyone.

Eh, Clemens was very one-note while Cumberbatch was great at times and sometimes over-the-top.

And you don't think Hall is over the top

Not. At. All. No, I think the character demanded every bit of what she did. Granted, I am not familiar with the source familiar, but I don't see how a subtle interpretation of Sylvia would have worked. Christopher, however, could have been played without the occasional grimace, which really came out grotesque here and now.

I actually think Wilson is the weakest. Penny's obviously the most outwardly funny on paper but I think the schtick wore thinner as the show has progressed. She's still great though.

Coupe has been the most consistent, and she is freaking aces when she's with Wayans . Cuthbert really surprised me though, she went from being the weakest to a comedic genius as the show progressed.

Exactly. The males don't have that problem, Wayans is always cited as the standout.

I agree with Eduardo, Wilson is the weakest link but the fact that Penny is the most outwardly funny could help with the emmys.

I swear if Clemens gets a nom I'll have to pull out my Love My Way DVDs. Remember when she was a teen in that.
