Why did Dez have to go?!?! His hotness will be missed.
"Now my life is sweet like cinnamon..."
The contestants this season have way more talent than the current season of X-Factor and the last season of Idol.
Amanda and Cassadee are my favorites to win.
I'm shocked Amanda Brown was eliminated. In which case, I think it's clear Cassadee Pope is the winner this season.

Okay, I just watched all the blind auditions. Super high level of talent! I'm not sure that anyone completely blew me away so far, though, which happened for me during the blind auditions in both of the previous seasons (even if the overall level of talent was lower).
Not them sending Amanda and Melanie before that Cee-Lo team. Guys should never cover And I'm Telling You, I hope Trevin gets the boot next week.
Amanda was my fave but the songs she picked this last episode didn't help. Adam dropped the ball here. Melanie gave 2 great covers (Cough Sirup and Too Close) but she would never win this thing. She's too cute though.

I am devastated with Amanda's elimination.
I think she is IMO probably, the strongest contestant in a reality singing competition.
I hope she can have an important career after the show.
I think that more than one contestant will be relevant in the future for the first time in The Voice.
The level of talent of this season, was EXTREME. Compare any of this acts with Emblem3 or Cece Fray or Tate fucking Stevens...
I can't wait for next season with Usher and Shakira!!! I want to know what they can bring to the show...

So in this week's semi-final of the Dutch version of the show, the woman who holds the first four positions on iTunes is booted off the show. Baffling. Shows once again that they shouldn't let the public decide these things.
Almost totally caught up on this show finally and it has been SUPER impressive. So many memorable performances that this show has produced and it just makes me so happy to see how open-minded the production is.
One thing that has bugged me is Trevin Hunte. I understand why he has gotten so far but I wouldn't have even put him past the battle rounds. He is artistically bankrupt, from my viewpoint. Nothing he does is different. Just the typical big, wide-ranged voice with a hint of soul. Technically he has a lot of ability but he actually is never consistent with hitting the notes in his performances and, again, it's just so uncreative and nothing he does really feels entirely personal to me.
It was really, really disappointing to me that Avery Wilson didn't get through the knockout rounds. He unfortunately made a not-great choice to dance so much in that performance, rather than focusing on the singing (and Cody Belew deserved to move through, so that battle pairing was unfortunate to begin with), but this kid's raw talent and natural performance ability impressed me probably more than anyone else this season. I really think he could have won the whole thing and deserves to be a star, with the right coaching. Just look at this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMYovYoE_Ug. Love him.
The one other thing that has bugged me this season is how fucking obvious and annoying Christina Aguilera has been about pimping her team out and making it sound like they are Gods compared to the other contestants. Like, she only had one freaking contestant that was even great and he isn't THAT great (Dez Duran). Just shut up bitch. Your team has deservedly been at the bottom for the 2nd time now, out of 3 seasons. I do feel slightly bad that her team was at the bottom last season, though...should have finished top 2 that time. Last season's winner was a massive boring joke (Jermaine Paul), when you look at all of the unique voices and excellent artistry the show has produced.
...seriously? Exactly what other term should be used. We all know that's how she has been.
You could also say, "Just shut up." There's really no need for bitch.
HS
This.
He was my favorite contestant of all The Voice seasons. And probably from a lot of other realites. And I was completely shocked that he didn't win.
I think someone will give him a record deal sooner or later, he is young, extremely talented, he can dance and he is hot.
Highlight of the season so far. Amanda Brown's "Dream On".
But there have been a lot of memorable moments, like you said.

I agree. There's nothing wrong with selling your contestants, but she keeps taking time out of the actual critiques she is supposed to be giving to stop the show and say "Don't forget about my contestants that sang early America, they are the best and you HAVE you vote for them."
Even more than that, though, during one episode she went on to specifically say her contestants are far better than all of the other contestants on the show (not just Team Adam) and they can do so amazing things that nobody else can and the other contestants on the show don't even compared to them, both technically and artistically. It was so massively disrespectful, not to mention it wasn't true to begin with.
Bitch is exactly the correct adjective for this situation.
I understand the mods being attentive about this language with all of the degrading actress talk on the site, but you guys have now swung way too far over onto the conservative side.
Right now you are defending a selfish, pompous, degrading multi-millionaire. Christina Aguilera made other people feel like shit and addressed viewers as if they were blind/deaf idiots. Her head was so far up her own ass and she artificially propped up her own contestants and made it seem like they were just her puppets, all to desperately try and win the show so that she can satiate her own ridiculous ego. Her actions exemplify exactly why the pejorative term 'bitch' has come to be what it is in our society.
