I'm definitely exaggerating about Mackinon. But i'm one of the few people who found Wiig obnoxious and overused, like 60% of the time, so i'm just glad we can see female cast members not named Kristen Wiig in more than one sketch now that she's gone. Strong is also shining.

I love how you say this with a Kristen Wiig avatar. (but I get your saying)

HAHA. She was in Bridemaids and no one was more surprised by that than I was.

That's it, I'm watching Bridesmaids tonight.

And I keep rewatching the One Day More number, and it's actually kind of awesome.

I think it's weird how Tim Robinson has been pretty much absent for the past three or so shows when he had a really strong beginning of the season (he appeared in five sketches in the Seth MacFarlane episode, for instance)

On the other hand, I'm glad Aidy Bryant is slowly starting to appear in more sketches.

It was hilarious, however, when he waved the Italian flag during the Les Miz skit.
But that was all he did?

I thought it was the Mexican flag

Mcdonalds quitting had Some good stuff. "Were you burned? Yes." "You look like a serial killer." And the face Killam had was perfect.

I thought Miss Hathaway was flawless as host. She could get an easy Emmy nomination for this, especially if she's ACADEMY AWARD WINNER Anne Hathaway by next September. I can't stop thinking about her Carrie Mathison and Katie Holmes.

"She's having one of her jazz freakouts!"

    WIN!

It wasn't overly physical like McCarthy and she's not a returning castmate like Rudolph so I doubt it.

Which she'll easily get the very moment she steps on Broadway the way that community has already embraced her, what with her successful performances in Shakespear in the Park and Cabaret evenings. In a few years, all she needs is a Grammy. Which, if she wants it, is the easiest one to get!

No, Zac, I'm going with my Nanny.

If Zach Gallakfjadisnkis can get in, surely Anne Hathaway has a fighting chance. This being her year and all.

Anne Hathaway cannot get the EGOT before Parker and Stone! First the threat of Winslet, now THIS!

Really, Marcia Gay Harden is where it's at. Or Randy Newman.

I saw this in my DVR this morning. It's kind of strange because I have enjoyed both Anne Hathaway AND Rihanna as host and musical guest in the past (and I was really looking forward to this), but this was probably my least favorite hosting and musical guest appearance for both..

Ricky Gervais will host SNL sometime in 2013:

    From his blog:

I did my 23rd Letterman appearance, (which was probably my favourite one so far), and The View. I told Barbara Walters to shut up. She took it well. They even invited me back to co-host. I said yes. I also promised the SNL lot that I'd host next year. I've been invited to do it so many times but I was never available, but I'm going to do it next year whether it coincides with me plugging something or not. It might even be better if I don't have to restrict it to jokes about the movie or TV show I'm flogging. Pure fun. You'll be the judge of that.
I'm looking forward to the monologue, though I'm not sure how well he'll do with the rest of the show.
