Damn, that Katie Holmes wig does her alot of favors.

But that Ellen skit was so recycled.

HAHA at that Oscar speech she gave at the credits. Someone's been practicing.

This actually wasn't too bad. And yeah, that credits speech she gave was total Oscar practice.

She was AWESOME! So was Weekend Update, the rest meh.

Anne was kind of funny as Katie Holmes tho. And I kept thinking a Judy Garland bio-pic is in her future?

FYC Oscar consideration, Miss Sally Field, as Mary Todd Lincoln

But this requires heavy doses of your best stuff before hitting play...

    Will Oscar have Riva Fever?

You mean the Liza Minnelli bio-pic, don't you Habsey ?!? Seeing as that's who Hamaway seems to be channelling these days.

Despite almost throwing up during her opening number/song, I did make it through part of the Homeland spoof, which I chuckled at. Not having ever actually seen Homeland, I did think Hamaway did have Danes' irritating mannerisms down pat. Still, that was about all I could take, so am sad I missed Rhianna.

I can't really stand Anne Hathaway, but I thought she really brought it. The 'Homeland' sketch was hilarious.

Pretty strong episode overall. I mean, any time we get to see Drunk Uncle, I'm happy.

I didn't really enjoy this episode. Hathaway was ok (Ugh, her speech at the end) but was nothing spectacular. I think I would've loved that Homeland sketch if I watched Homeland, but I don't so I didn't get it.

But for some reason I really loved the pre-recorded sketch. It was so weird but brilliant at the same time.

Hathaway was pretty terrific each time she's hosted now, and probably one of the only non-former cast member women that have appeared a few times. I think ScarJo was also on three? Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, Justin Timberlake, Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell and Jon Hamm are practically on once a season.

This was not by any means a great episode, but it was probably the first time since the beginning of the Wiig-era that every female cast member was in more than one sketch.

Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon are really doing excellent work.
I thought the opening bit was hilarious, but it went downhill from there. The recorded sketch was fun, and I love the room they are carving for Taran Killam, but the rest was just meh.

I love Cecily Strong and frickin' ADORE McKinnon. I also really like Aidy Bryant and feel so bad for because of the little screentime she gets. I wanted to give her a hug during that Girlfriends sketch. I'm scared she's gonna get cut.

Aidy Bryant best moment came when she was aping Candie Crowley.

The Homeland sketch was hilarious. Even thought she wasn't in the sketch for long, Anne's Katie Holmes was excellent again.

I already love McKinnon better than i've ever loved Wiig on SNL and without her there to hog the screen, more female cast are allowed to shine. yay

I don't think McKinnon really deserves that kind of praise yet, but she is definitely someone to expect things from.
Also, Cecily Strong. Her Girl You'll Regret Speaking To At A Party from last week had me in stitches.
