"Try" took a while to grow on me and looks like it was the same for everyone else. It's sort of unusual to have a song reach the top ten 4 months after its release.

I must admit that I too thought "Try" was boring and the same for Pink at the beginning, but after a week or so, I got to love it and I still do, even if "Just Give Me a Reason" aged better. I want Top 10 hit #3
I know I've got a big ego, I really don't know why it's such a big deal, though.

Girl on Fire needs to go top 10 next week too. And I'm so happy Florence Welch finally has a top 10 hit in the US. I'm still mad the Calvin Harris remix of Spectrum failed to gain any momentum for her.

The video for Sweet Nothing is also one of the best pop videos of the past year or so.

All of this. "Spectrum" could have been a big hit, and it's my favorite single of 2012.

    Top 20 for Kelly!

So, is Pour It Up an official single for Rihanna? It seems to be steadily climbing without any real promotion. I like it, but it's an odd choice if it really is an official one. She needs to release "Right Now" at some point. Though I'm not sure I'm really cheering for her to find much success anymore.

Pour It Up is an official urban radio release. Stay is the pop release for Rihanna.
Try is more a radio thing than an audience buying thing. It managed T10 despite being at #20 on iTunes at the moment. So far her career has yielded 2 songs that were T5 digitally for 5 weeks; both hit #1.

Pitch Perfect now has MORE songs that spent at least 5 weeks on the chart than Glee's 4 seasons combined. 6 + 6 + 5 vs. 7 (Don't Stop Believing) + 5 (Forget You) + 4 (Poker Face). Pitch Perfect's Cups is actually pretty good and should stay one or maybe two more weeks.

Just listened to "I Love It" right now... just not my kind of music. I like it in little fragments. I can see this being a really fun commercial/fashion week-type song, though.

OMG Icona Pop on the Hot 100!! I am shaking and crying right now.

The performance of "Little Talks" has been pretty incredible. I wonder how high it can go.

Great. Now who's going to watch Sunday Rose on SAG night??

Everything that was in the Top 10 took a major tumble because of the Grammys, that's for sure. I don't get how of all people, The Lumineers profited from it the most. Their performance was awful!

LOL the Grammy boost is always so mystifying to me. Like, who does not own "Somebody That I Used to Know" that still wants to buy it??
