Why am I listening to Sheryl Crow?

A friend from across the pond just put this on my Facebook. I quite love it - Hart has a very sultry voice, and the funky instrumentation is quite catchy.

Sheryl Crow is awesome. 'My Favorite Mistake' is just one of the examples of a great discography.

Rumors are swirling that Beyonce will release a couple of new tracks before her Super Bowl performance, and one of them being a Justin collab!

Will we get a repeat of the Janet Jackson Superbowl incident?

Hadn't thought of him, but I'm still guessing it's Timberlake.

I was just kidding, thankfully. A Beyonce duet with Bieber is not something I ever want to hear. A song with Timberlake sounds wonderful, though!

Totally off-topic again, because today is a music discovery day, apparently: how did I not know about Sunny Day Real Estate until now?! Diary is a freaking masterpiece!

I can listen to this song on repeat for hours.

Does that make me crazy? I hope not.

I'm not sure why it took me so long to get around to it, but Robert Plant's collaboration with Alison Krauss on "Raising Sand" is an absolutely gorgeous and surprising album. "Please Read the Letter", in particular, is an absolutely stunning song. I've read a few reviews that called it indulgent...if this is indulgence, then it is indulgence at its very finest.

It really is. When I first heard about it I wasn't expecting it to be that special or good but I was so surprised after couple of listens.

NPR has posted their list of top 100 songs of 2012. To be honest, I haven't heard about half of them.

There's actually a critics' list threads, so you should post this there! But I quite like that list. The inclusion of Taylor Swift is kind of funny.

Tonight's the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York. It's Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, One Direction, and a few other acts. However, there's supposed to be a surprised guest. The rumor is that its either Ke$ha or Usher.... I am praying so hard that its Ke$ha. That would be sooo amazing!
