I don't listen to Cher Lloyd's music but that song is enjoyable.

Miranda Lambert should get more love. She has a killer voice, fun attitude and has such a strong discography. Especially the last 3 albums are filled with one great track after another with decent enough lyrics too. Ranging from country music blending with rock to ballad.

I think she gets quite a bit, no? She has a lot of fans here. Both Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Revolution are absolutely stellar records. I'd actually go a step further and say she's one of today's best songwriters. "Dead Flowers," for example, is pretty brilliant.

I personally don't see her famous at a national level, crossing over. Isn't she eventually boxed as a country artist and thus more appreciated in areas where this genre is popular?

I guess we're the only ones - I heard her song at dinner tonight and almost headdesked into my cosmo.

I know!!! Black Friday will be awesome for her album. She's the only one that got anything from the lowest rated AMAs ever. LOL.

I really really hope she gets that AOTY nomination. If not, she better win Pop album, live on the show!

No comments on the Jessie Ware/Joker track? I haven't been able to take that old gem off repeat for the past two days. It's just massive.

America, you are all too welcome to take Cher Lloyd off our hands like you did with Piers Morgan.

I feel ya. I missed her at a summer fest here in Portugal, and now I have the feeling I lost her for good. Let's hope this tour expands. (and the album appears in many many influential lists *fingers*)

She's not really boxed. She just doesn't make crossover music. Her sound is very country, which I love, but she's not going to get much attention outside of that world because of it.

    I adore her.

    Ke$ha's new album:

    Warrior Ew and interminably long
Die Young Grody and a watered-down version of past Ke$ha hits
C’mon Quite catchy if not quite as good as some of her earlier songs
Thinking of You Bleh mostly, but I kinda like the chorus.
Crazy Kids I like the chorus, but the verses are really annoying.
Wherever You Are Chorus makes my head hurt, verses are forgettable
    Dirty Love No
    Wonderland Boring
Only Wanna Dance An earlier version has been floating around for ages so I’m over it, though it’s nice enough I guess.
Supernatural I kinda like the chorus thoug it’s a bit shrill; the verses aren’t good.
    All That Matters Meh
Love into the Light Quite boring
    Old Flames More boring
Out Alive Okay verses as they seem to be going somewhere…but that place is a bad chorus (and bridge).
Gold Trans Am Terrible and gross
Last Goodbye Somewhat shrill and flat, but not that bad
    Past Lives Dull

Worst Ke$ha outing thus far (I liked her first 6 singles.). I’m rooting for C’mon to be the second single, then…new EP. Some of her leaked demos were way better than the songs here, especially Booty Call.

As far as the 10 biggest pop girls in my opinion, I’d rank them: Taylor, Britney, Kelly, Beyonce, Kesha, Pink, Gaga, Rihanna, Adele, Katy
I'd say the first 2's last releases (Red, Femme Fatale) were their best yet, while the rest of them...the worst yet, probably.

Ang Lee - The only 2x Bafta/DGA/Oscar-Winning Director!
Meryl on Oscars: Y’see these little babies? These are my best f***ing friends
and they never let me down. Try to get ‘em away from me and I’ll eat you alive.

Lol, yes, Taylor Swift and Britney Spears are definitely better than Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce, Pink, and Adele.

Well, I said I. I don't care if you think your taste is better than mine.

Has anyone ever heard of Dragonette? It's this little Canadian electropop band that I randomly discovered the other day, in particularly this one song called "Giddy Up". It may be too obnoxiously cheerful for some, but if you're in need of a high-energy, infectiously fun song, you need it in your life.

(I would post a Youtube link, but I guess no one has posted it yet! )
    WE'RE GONNA FIGHT!

This weekend...one last chance to save Halle's career from complete oblivion. Oh, wait...
    "...it's already done."
