As you probably know, Jessie Ware has been dominating my listening for months. I recently revisited this gem. So great!
Kelly Rowland is on a roll. She has 3 features and her own single charting on Urban.
The Big Boi single is leagues above anything though. Such a bop.
I can't stand her terrible Ice song. Bleh.

The Cher song is pretty mediocre. Generic as they come. And I just hope that single cover art is not official.
I'll have to check out the new Cher song when I get a chance (I can't with the wifi connection I have right now). My problem with everything she's done since "Believe," is that it all sounds, as haqyunus put it, mediocre. I hope the new material's got some substance to it.
The new Cher is better than I was expecting.
The spare production during the verses is pretty nice. The choruses are sort of a jumbled, featureless mess production-wise, though. But, it's saved by Cher's vocals, which sort of elevate the whole song and really make you want to belt it.
Better than Madge's lead singles.![]()
I knew it was coming :p
I kind of agree in spite of my huge love for Madge. The lead singles from MDNA were, if not better than Cher's, were a let down given what we expect from Madonna. But having said that, taking the same comparison here, there are quite solid songs on MDNA other than the two lead singles. For me, considering this song by Cher as 'great' and at the same time putting down stuff on MDNA ( other than the singles) just doesn't make sense ( which some people inevitably do)
I actually like MDNA overall (It's a solid B for me). But all the singles were awful.
I'm Addicted should have been a single. I also really love Love Spent and I'm a Sinner. And Gang Bang is fun. The rest is meh, but those songs totally make the album worth it.
Yes, I was only thinking of MDNA (and therefore GMAYL and GGW which are both all sorts of lazy).
Cher Lloyd's music makes we want to jump out of the window. Her music is just plain annoying.
