I've always liked *Ke$ha*. It's just her music that's the problem. Die Young is an incredibly lazy song. Not horrible, but lazy and uninspired. C'mon is less lazy. Still not really good but a definite step in the right direction.

I really hope Warrior surprises people. But I'm also not getting my hopes up.

But our culture's biggest sin may well be the auto-tuned syrup we've allowed to dominate the pop charts. All-time chart records are handed to vacuous acts such as the Black Eyed Peas and singing awards are given to vocal lightweights such as Taylor Swift.

History will show a dark time in our culture in which a million followers on Twitter became a key component to winning a Grammy.
    But thank God for Pink.

Agree that Rated R is still the best Rihanna album

And I love Ke$ha's music. I really hope her album takes her to another level.

Loveee Song is the other track I like on Unapologetic. But Rihanna is hardly in it, LOL.

Rihanna's new album's reviews put it at the same level as her last 2, though I would put it below since I don't like any of its songs.
Isn't this the case for most of today's female pop stars?

Well, speaking of Alicia Keys, I can't seem to figure out what her new song "This Girl's On Fire" is about. I heard it on the radio and couldn't really get into it. I kind of thought maybe Adele had rejected it. However, I normally love Alicia Keys.

Seriously? Cause it's sung in such a meloncholy way, that I would never have interpreted it in that way.

Well it's also kinda about a girl overcoming her past/where she came from. I don't see a problem with it.

Looks like Rihanna may finally have a #1 album to her name. Predictions put her around 250k for her first week, which will be her highest first week sales OF ALL TIMES.

However, this past week, One Direction crushed the charts with over 500k in 1st weeks sales. It'll be interesting to see if they can maintain the top spot or if RiRi finally gets to #1.

Taylor may also still be a player with Black Friday sales.

Let's hope Rihanna stays #1-less in albums. Cannot believe she's already tied with Madonna in #1 singles

True. I wasn't even thinking of Black Friday. Watch out for a surge in Scotty McCreery's Christmas album

Really? Because that chorus is pretty booming and affirmative to me.

My sister played me some awful, awful song sung by some Cher Lloyd character today, called "Want You" (no, I will not put your kewl txt letters in this, fuck you, spell things out properly) "Back". I think I have a new candidate for the worst song I've ever heard in my miserable life.
