Andy Stott's Luxury Problems on loudspeakers is just sublime. Pure aural bliss!

It's such a great time to be a Pink fan. Absolute perfection.

And congrats to the AMA team for making a good show this year. Lots of good stuff.

Man, it's really hard to even like Justin Bieber a little bit, isn't it? He's such a smug prick. In any case, at least he sounded pretty nice on the acoustic version of "As Long As You Love Me."

Taylor Swift really went full-on pop last night. "I Knew You Were Trouble" is a really fun song. I'm honestly surprised she's been able to push the envelope this far without very much negative feedback or backlash. Might as well keep going.

Y'all can continue to be wrong about this guy, but he's been one of the few bright spots on an absolutely abysmal year of mainstream pop. This is really good.

Has there been a bunch of vitriol against Bruno Mars? "Locked Out Of Heaven" is great. I like "Young Girls," too.

On first listen, "Moonshine" sounds pretty slick, too.

Well, there are many people who hate her, who think she's fake and/or talentless and/or stuck in a tween mindset and/or ugly. People on this site, for example, have brought up her name out of nowhere just to make snide comments about her.

But y'know what haters can do?

    Because

I think it's wrong to hate TSwift because "she's ugly", because way to feed the system, but she does lack talent. I appreciate that she writes her own songs, and her work on the Hunger Games soundtrack was a tremendous step forward. But she continues to write very reductive songs about shallow relationships, and has made little to no effort to improve her live singing skills, which for me is a huge minus. Also, her style of music isn't my normal grab bag. I spent all last week listening to Muse's back catalog. Taylor and I will never ever be together.

I never understood 'fake' as an insult to a singer, either. Whether or not someone is authentic is irrelevant, because no one becomes famous without going through the de riguer of image-making. No one is truly real, but no one is totally fake, either. What should matter is their style and their talent.

Kelly sounded ah-mazing on the AMAs. Love her.

Pink was terrific as well. I even liked Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble" performance

I think it's hard to call Justin Bieber a smug prick. After all, he's just a kid. I think we were all like that at one point or another when we were younger.... though I should say, I actually kind of like him. I think he's harmless and kinda fun.

I'm really starting to become a huge Ke$ha fan. I finally downloaded Die Young the other day. And, I think she's in a position to have a great album-era, with Katy Perry laying low and not much happening with any of the other girls right now (except Rihanna, who is always around with new music).

Though, I just saw on Twitter that Miley Cyrus has a new album about to come out. I'm hoping her approach is more mature pop than the kid friendly stuff I've heard from her in the past. I'd love to see Miley graduate into a bonafide pop princess, but again, I haven't heard her new material..

After spinning Unapologetic nonstop for close to a week now, I'm fairly confident it's Rihanna's best, most cohesive album to date. "Jump" easily one of her best records.

I've only voluntarily listened to Die Young 3x (debut, music video, AMAs) and it's not my cup of tea. But her new song C'mon is more to my taste; the lyrics are still basically "Ke$ha wants sex," but it feels more fun and less skanky for some reason.

Rihanna's new album's reviews put it at the same level as her last 2, though I would put it below since I don't like any of its songs.

I feel like, if AD embraces Ke$ha, then all will be right with world.. I can't wait to see how this era unfolds for her.
