I forgot Flight of the Concords was HBO. I'd second that tremendously. I prefer Band of Brothers to The Pacific, but they aren't my usual cup of tea. (I've only seen them because my dad watches them constantly.)

Why are none of the shows I want to catch up on (namely Happy Endings and New Girl) available on Netflix/Hulu Plus/Amazon Prime?
It's like...they expect me to pay for it or something!![]()
WE'RE GONNA FIGHT!
This weekend...one last chance to save Halle's career from complete oblivion. Oh, wait...
"...it's already done."
#THECALL.
The Pacific is to Casino as Band of Brothers is to Goodfellas.
Erik: Enlightened takes a while to snap into place. I think I got what it was trying to do around episode five? And after that, the early episodes seem better, because you get what the show is going for.
I definitely recommend it. I think it's the best show on TV right now.

Holy shit!!! Curb Your Enthusiasm is brilliant.
I'm only on season 2.
Anyone watching that new ABC series Deception? I was wondering if it was as fun as Revenge's season one.
Will you join the Geography Club?
Been binge-watching on Breaking Bad and I just watched episode 12 of the 4th season.
Goodness this series is amazing with the tension. Sometimes I hold my breath when something serious about to go DOWN. The whole cast is phenomenal but it really is Cranston's show. It started slow but man the 4th season really stepped it up. I mean wow.
Just finished Enlightened Season 1.
There has never been a show that has made me feel so uncomfortable while watching. I can never relax watching the show, always on edge thanks to every word that comes out of Laura Dern's mouth!
But the payoff is always so great!it!
"I'm a firm believer in karma, and I think this situation is a huge learning lesson for me.
To grow and expand as a spiritual human being. I want to lead a country one day for all I know".
Been rewatching random episodes from the DCAU. Good God, when those shows were hitting their groove, they were absolutely incredible television. Such a masterful mix of pulp action and rich thematics has rarely been seen on TV (the Cadmus arc is as audacious and well-executed an example of serialization as I've seen, and the ideas it gets at are shockingly sophisticated, given the supposed target audience). Perfect casting basically down the line, great animation, and superb writing.
"Think of it, Batman. To never again walk on a summer's day with a hot wind on your face, and a warm hand to hold. Oh, yes, I'd kill for that."
Three sentences, and a character who had been incredibly goofy even by comic book standards for his prior thirty years of existence becomes one of the series' most tragic. Now that's writing.
It is older but yeah, it's only gotten to FB in the last week or so, oddly.
Peter Sarsgaard has joined the third season of The Killing...
