I like that 'edict' so much because just now, on Dutch television, at prime time, in the biggest talk show in the country, they talked about the painting that I have hidden behind a spoiler below (because it is definitely NSFW) for 10 minutes.

It's L'Origin du Monde, by Gustave Courbet. Apparently, Paris Match is going to have an 11-page article about a great discovery concerning the painting (there is another painting of what is supposedly the head of this lady).

But on US television, you have to make sure that "the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure" .

    But really, .

    Interesting.

Prince's twitter feed 3rdeyegirl just posted this message: "Screwdriver LIVE - February 10, 2013"

He was already confirmed to be at the Grammys sunday. "Screwdriver" (a solid rocker) is his new single that was released this week online, including his new music-selling website. So I guess he is performing sunday night.

Dr. Funkenberry (a Prince confidant) said that Prince WON'T be performing at the Grammys, just presenting. That big news and cryptic video refered probably to something big happening on 3rdeyegirl.com or prince2013.com, Prince's new websites.

    How disapointing.

I agree on your picks, but I would reverse who goes where. I'm a Beatles fan, but I have trouble seeing Paul winning for a album that didn't get enthusiastic reviews. I can't say I know that many Beatles fans who were enthusiastic about it either. (I'll still say "My Valentine" was a pretty good song.) Plus Buble has won that particular Grammy 3 times, so I see Macca on the outside looking in.

I'm so confused with this one especially since Buble won three already, but after seeing that Tony Bennett won here 11(!) times, I'll switch predictions now.

I just made some final predictions for tonight. I have fun. winning five, which seems excessive. But I think they can do it, for the Big 4:

    Album: Mumford and Sons
    Record: We Are Young
    Song: We Are Young
    Best New Artist: fun.

I can easily see The Lumineers taking Best New Artist. They seem right in the Grammy wheelhouse and peaking at the right time. I want to predict Frank Ocean for something big, but I only have winning Urban Contemporary Album and Rap/Sung for "No Church In The Wild."

I think Pop Solo is between Kelly and Adele. It will be silly if Adele wins for a live version of a song on an album that dominated last year, so I hope Kelly takes it. She's my prediction.

I think The Black Keys dominate the rock categories, winning Album, Performance and Song.

Miguel wins both R&B Song and Performance for "Adorn."

Kane and Jay-Z dominate the rap categoriesand I think Beyonce wins Traditional R&B Performance for "Love On Top." I think Nas steals Rap Album from Drake.

In the country categories, I think "Springsteen" wins Song and Solo Performance, while Zac Brown Band takes Album and Little Big Tiwn wins Duo/Group Performance.

There us the strong possibility that Skrillex wins two Grammys tonight.

Anyway, these are always wildly unpredictable. All the races are really wide open, so that's fun.

It's frustrating because I can envision Ocean winning AOTY, New Artist, Contemporary/Urban album, etc. But I can also see him losing all of them(!) including Contemp. album.
