    Does seems like they've changed quite a bit of dialogue from the book and that Deniro's character has had a makeover.

    I know they've changed a bit but kept the main elements of the book in it (that's if it didn't change a lot from the script I read).

    They also seemed to have changed part of the ending from what I've read (in the book and the script). Someone who has seen it can verify if Pat and Tiffany get together when Danny and his therapist are in on the plan to get Tiffany out of the house to talk to Pat, days after the dance scene or if they cut that part out of the film and they get together the night of the dance instead. Because the former in the script was great, which even though it was different to the book kept the essence of the story.
