Hung Up is another one which shouldn't be changed, the two versions she has done are so awful!

I think the new arrangements of Open Your Heart and Like a Virgin were stunning. She did Love Spent!! The e pluribus unum ra version, but even slower! Gorgeous.

She also did, in celebration of yesterday being the 30th anniversary of its release, her very first single "Everybody." So fabulous. And not in any show yet.

Like a Prayer probably was the biggest and most rousing number and Rocco was out for like, four songs, so cool, that kid is adorable.

I had almost forgotten just how perfect a performer she is and how luxurious and wonderful her stage shows are, I'm so glad I went. Thank you, Isa!!!!!
You missed the row. Our new seat was section 113 AND row 8!!!!

It WAS awesomeness wasn't it? She was amazing. I have to say I'm soooooo glad she sang some of her old songs! I enjoyed it thoroughly.

And "Everybody" number was v special. I swear I haven't heard that song probably in at least in 25 years!! (I'm aging myself).

This should have been a single last fall. It has a love-hate relationship with her fans but I'm on the love bandwagon.

We just got out of the Madonna concert at Madison Square Garden (we're at the Taco Bell on 30th & 8th now) She didn't start until 10:50 tonight..

I haven't seen Madonna in about a month, and I was saddened to see that "Holiday" is no longer in the show.. however, she made up for that by performing a good amount of "Give It 2 Me" during "Celebration" .. something I was not aware that she is now doing. I also must add that this was the best of the MDNA shows that I've seen, and the tour just seems to be getting better as it progresses.

I'm still dying to know how Ben affords all of these shows (at $350+ a pop) and travel to see them.

I'm not quite clear on what the last few posts are asking.. Are you asking what I do for a living? Or are you simply trying to have some fun at my expense? I honestly am fine either way, I'm just not sure.. (erik, I'm unable to see the img u posted)

Ok, I understand. I work in stage management with 2 theater companies in Portland Oregon, and every so often with a third in New York, (though, every so often I work with the lighting and sound departments).

Artist Rep and Portland Center Stage. If I wasn't living/working in Portland, I don't think I'd ever have any reason to wanna visit, let alone come up a couple times a year. lol

^ I agree, but I prefer the pace of a city like New York. I get bored easily in Portland.

I just got out of Madonna's second Madison Square Garden show. Even better than last night. She brought out that South Korean singer Sigh (sp?) as a surprise guest, and they did "Give It 2 Me," "Gung Gung Style," (sp?) and "Music," all in place of "Masterpiece." (she did not do "Masterpiece" ) Also, the energy was really wild tonight, everyone really seemed to be enjoying themselves.
