Christina's voice is in full force in the new song. Very strong vocals and she seems to going back to her Stripped album.

    LOL, Critix.

We didn't say "Louboutins" was the best thing she'd ever released! Obviously, "Get Right" is better!

So have we talked about Best Coast yet? I'm two years late, but their first album is perfection. Listening to the second right now and it's equally lovely, if a bit more slickly processed than before.

I LOVED the first album...but kind of hated the second one? I'll give it another try at some point, but I just couldn't get into it at all.

    Yep, agree with this.

I was obsessed with the first album for a long time. The second one fell flat for me. There wasn't any interesting artistic growth, it was all so formulaic. The first album is kind of brilliant in its simplicity, but the second one is just kind of uninteresting.

Speaking of new albums that fell flat: Yeasayer and Bloc Party. Both of them start out relatively strong in their first 4-5 songs and then they both, the Yeasayer in particular, kind of fall apart.

That's what I've heard about the Yeasayer album, which is too bad because I love 'Henrietta.'

So do I! And that's about when the album stops dead in its tracks.

Anyone hear the new Alanis album? I'm thinking of blind-buying it on Tues ($8.99 @ Target WITH 3 bonus tracks) since I really loved Flavors of Entanglement.

Will you join the Geography Club?
