what a joke of a season. after they sifted the really bad top 13, they've got Carly, heck even an acceptable Fifth Harmony in the finale yet the utterly mediocre generic cowboy singer Tate still wins.

awful season, awful ratings with an awful voting demographic. that's the story of X Factor USA so far in its two seasons

i also think UK had an awful season this year, awful final three and an awful constipated winner (to the point that i actually preferred their joke contestant over that overrated POS). UK was at its peak last season 7, the latter seasons were utterly boring especially this recent one. Simon is really failing his franchises. maybe he should go back to UK where his sensibilities is more in tune there instead of leaving the UK franchise to the dogs

BAH, Tate was pretty fantastic, had a great backstory and was a star. Sure, Carly's voice was unmatched this season, but like a 12 year old needs $5,000,000

The right person won; hands down.

I thought Tate was a deserving winner, but I was still pulling for 5H!

BUt it's alright. 5H was apparently signed to SYCO before the finale anyway. It was a given.
