I don't think this will be out this year, but I always thought Bullock would get nominated for this. She's still very popular and I think they'd nominate her for stretching herself as well as to validate her previous win.

I pretty much agree with this. I think if Reese, Halle, or Renee could ever land a decent film project again, the same would apply to them as well as SaBu.

Well Renee is a three time nominee already, but I get your point.

No, Zac, I'm going with my Nanny.

Not gonna lie, back in 2003-2004 I thought Renée was going to be like, a six- or seven-time nominee by 2012. She had "finally" won after her third consecutive nomination, was appearing in a Bridget Jones sequel, and had an apparently baity supporting role in an upcoming boxing drama plus a Janis Joplin biopic in the works.

I hate it how actors sometimes lose their motivation after winning the Oscar instead of using it to get better parts.
I know I've got a big ego, I really don't know why it's such a big deal, though.

Yes, but her Supporting Actress win is not at all popular on any internet forums really (I don't know how the Academy feels in retrospect), that I could see them giving her a nod in the future, just to prove to themselves they weren't wrong rewarding her...in the same way as SaBu, Halle, and Reese (though those three have only ever received one nomination).

I think the Academy feels now like it did then that it was a consolation prize.

I hate the notion that the Academy drastically changed their opinion about the person they voted for, especially due to some people on the internet

    Thumbs down

I am feel pretty confident in saying that Renee and Halley Berry will never be nominated again.

Well, a couple of years ago EW asked Academy members to revote on certain years. They gave it to Aghdashloo.

I got invited to a test screening of this on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I'm also going to see a taping of Conan, so I might not be able to make Gravity. We'll see.

Do you try to be hostile to others, or does it just come really naturally for you?

    Let's play nice, no?

You've seen Conan multiple times. Why miss Gravity to see that?

Yo. I just found the password and recruiter code for the screening. So I kind of have practically unlimited passes lol.

Would anyone else like to go? If so shoot me a PM!

I know HS and Dent are in Los Angeles since they went to Cloud Atlas.

It was on my friend's ticket. So it's the same for everyone I guess.

It's like a GOFOBO code. You have the code, you're able to get the screening pass.

Gofobo code is the same thing as the Password on this website.

The code/recruiter is through Preview Free Movies.
