On the other hand, Fred Armisen will stay ten more years.
It's a good move for Wiig. She's already crossed over.
Don't know about the other two.
Leaving a screening of The Paperboy.
Wiig was great. It was too bad that Two A-Holes did not return even when Wiig and Sudekis were both in the cast. Wiig was obviously preparing to leave. Samberg with his Digital Shorts will also leave a gap.
This is still only coming from Us Weekly.
But if it is true, ugh.
I'm so happy that Wiig is finally leaving. Good for her; she's going to have a bright future.
Huzzah! All three of them are probably realizing it's more of a liability/time suck now.
Wiig is a star. She is leaving at the perfect time.
Time will tell where Samberg will go beyond the Lonely Island. Sudeikis is a wild card.
I suspect Samberg has a great sitcom role in him.

Samberg and the Lonely Island team could probably start their own production company geared towards films. I think it's entirely likely Samberg and his crew end up directing, producing, and starring in numerous films. Akiva Schaeffer has already directed Hot Rod with Samberg and Taccone, and Taccone directed MacGruber. They could fizzle out like a lot of SNL alumni, but they have a unique, offbeat sense of humor that's just waiting for something big to channel it.
Wiig will have a prosperous career.
Sudeikis will not.![]()
I hope they bring Sudeikis back to 30 Rock. He was perfect there and has the potential to be a younger Steve Carell.
