Looks like an old score to settle between agents.

" Please, Michael, take back Megan, she's a few months away from a Playboy cover, I can't find anything descent for her. Plus, she likes pizzas."

He's not directing though, right? I guess she figures she can appear to make peace with him without having to actually work with him on a day to day basis.

But Bay or not, your career is fucked when you're having to sign on for crap like this.

Its a summer tentpole release for Paramount.

Sure it sounds like crap, but considering her career, she's lucky she got this gig. She instead could be working Direct to DVD, a graveyard of people who used to star in movies actually released in theaters.

I guess she really felt like she needed to get back to work after David Silver's show on TBS got canceled.

I'm at least glad that Fox is emerging from the embarrassing pit her career fell into during the past couple years. I guess her career was never that impressive, but she went from roles in two gigantic blockbusters to being dumped from the franchise and ending up with complete garbage like Passion Play.

I really liked her in Jennifer's Body and I think she has a presence that at least deserves a little more time on the screen. Now, crawling back to Bay for an already delayed reboot of a 90s franchise isn't exactly mega promising, but it's definitely better than what she's been up to lately.

As for the movie itself, I've caught a few episodes of the new Saturday morning Ninja Turtles cartoon and it's kind of fantastic. The animation is spectacular and the fight sequences are top notch for kids' entertainment. The whole thing has reminded me how much fun I once had with the concept and characters. At the very least, I'll be happy to revisit this world on the big screen again.

I believe the reason Fox was on hiatus is was her pregnancy and motherhood. I appreciate that.

Oh, really? Haha, I had no idea about this! Well, good for her then and that does make plenty of sense.

Nah, she stopped working long before she had a kid. She was just waxing poetic a few weeks ago in some magazine article about how she didn't care about a career anymore.

But then she probably remembered she needed money.

Her landlord got tired of her excuses.

I think honestly I'm just as surprised Bay let her come back to her. Whenever he's pissed and opens his mouth, he's a vindictive little shit. (Go Google up sometime his reaction to when Hugo Weaving said he did that TRANSFORMERS movies voice-acting gig for the money and put it down, and Bay went on a working class hero-flavored spiel about it. You didn't see Marvel act pissy when Paul Bettany more or less said the same thing, or when Weaving openly wished in an interview to exit his contract with them.)

Remember when we were surprised he did BOURNE LEGACY and GHOST PROTOCOL before that?

I guess he has marital troubles or a pricey coke habit. Or an excuse to legally perv on Megan Fox? Or maybe he collected TMNT action figures back in the day?

Man a friend of mine told me he wished this was less shitty blockbuster Michael Bay and more PAIN & GAIN insane Michael Bay here. I would pay to watch that.

*Leonardo chops Foot ninja's arm off.*

    "ARRRRRRGH!"

Leonardo: "Quit crying like a pussy! Be a doer, not a dont-er!"

EDIT - William Fichter has joined the cast.
