Oh, for fuck's sake.
Oh, for fuck's sake.
Look, I know your username is "Streeper" so that implies more than a little craziness (in general, not just when Meryl is concerned!) but stop fucking posting about Meryl Streep every five seconds. Move on to other stuff. Jesus Christ.
When you say "she" I assume you mustn't mean her actual performance but rather her film because if you are saying Davis' received better reviews for her performance than Streep did for The Iron Lady, that is obviously incorrect as Streep outpaced her easily, in all major critics awards.
I kind of find it fascinating that Streeper keeps posting about how Meryl is the best of the year and then when someone says that Davis or (insert name here) is better he/she/it starts ranting about your opinon![]()
I will accept offers to delete Streeper's posts.
You know what I like.
It's Ryan Gosling, naked, in my bed.
"This is not your daddy's HBO version of Mandela," said Weinstein. "This is the kickass version of Mandela."
Oh goddammit. I'll take this turning into a Streep fest before I let it turn into a lust party over Tom Sizemore.![]()
When Streep loses, the Streep people should get together and record an album of Adele-style power ballads about their sadness. Their lead single could be Rolling in the Streep!
We should have a viewing party Blasty...we could lust together!!!

But what stupid reasons were there for awarding Paltrow? I know they were accused of homophobia for awarding Crash but I really think they just thought it was better.I don't really think the Academy awards people for such stupid reasons. Reasons we don't agree with, maybe. But implying Davis will win just because she's black, well that I don't agree with at all.
Streeper, stop saying that Meryl gave the best performance like it's a fact. Because it isn't. The critics/awards bodies don't agree, and it's a matter of opinion anyway. And yeah, as soon as someone says she wasn't the best, you're like, YOUR OPINION![]()
I know I've got a big ego, I really don't know why it's such a big deal, though.
Ugh. Everything has been covered ad nauseum... black/white, the movie, the director, the past nominations/wins, the character, the campaign, BP, critics, precursors, blah blah blah
Everything has been said. Two great actresses/women. BOTH are winners really...

Yeah, I find the 'homophobia' accusation for the Crash win to be rather ridiculous considering that BBM was NOMINATED in the first place. If they were fearful of embracing the gay, don't you think it would have been snubbed? It won three Oscars. I think the Crash momentum and sudden resurfaced buzz did BBM in.
Seriously guys, I will end you both.![]()
